so before i had a b20b with b16 tranny and everything bolted up nicely then came along 3 inch crack between 1 and 2 cylinder so went and bought a b18b1 obd2 and now i get this ????? i thought all ls and b20b blocks share the same castings ????? i did try to move the axle back and fourth but nothing ?

how did the crack happen? i've seen 12 pound sledge malls used for assembly that didn't cause that. Im not tryin to be a wise acre, just curious
