home made Drag / Areo front end (not honda)

The goal... Make a street friendly, 150+mph front end for my shoe that is a fiero.
I am looking at modifying my current front end (which is pictured) into something that will come down and almost scrape pavement, but still give some decent cooling to my radiator/intercooler heat exchanger hiding up under the bumper.
Current plan is to pirate a pile of older bumpers I have and graft them over the maker light holes, deleting the running lights in the front. I will then need to find some type of plastic to build my 'one piece" front end from the point just under the marker lights to the pavement.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what sort of material I could use for this? I have some black hard plastic that would seemingly work quite well... Thick, light, dent resistant, easy to paint/cut/mold.... Just concerned about appearance and what to "trim" the bottom with to get that knife edge defuser look. Would I be stuck doing some type of custom fiberglass front end if I had any chance of making it look normal?
Any suggestions as to the best place to cut in my cooling holes? Any idea at what point I would be losing significant amounts of areo upgrade?
I would have made this thread on the fiero forums, but nobody does crazy stuff like what you guys do over here... lol.
