Default Precision turbo releases the 6785!

We know alot of people have been awaiting this day and its finally here. The 6785 is here to stay and we are super impressed with the results. We were able to get some real testing done on this tubo this past weekend but due to tire spin we had to cut the dyno session short. We were able to pick up today right where we left off. This past weekend we were able to eclispe the 900hp mark but today we cranked the boost up and the results even had us in shock.

Time for all other 67's to bow down cause the champ is here!

Sorry for the lack of torque in the graph but we have a dyno jet and today she was not trying to cooperate in the rpm dept.

What specs would you like to know? Its a 67mm inducer in the "gt42" style housings utilizing precision's 85 turbine wheel.

Engine specs are fairly simple, B series, je flat tops and aluminum grp's. Our standard GSR head package with our 3 lobe web cam's. Profile part number cmr-t. JG intake manifold and 75mm throttle body.

Fuel is FTW Purple E85

As far as the power goes I cant explain it, I cant explain why their car is down on power. For the parts they have they should be making more. But thats jsut from my experience. They have more then enough parts to go quicker and faster but dont I cant explain it maybe you can?

No the car wont be at spring nats its not a race car. It was just a car used for testing that had a solid engine/driveline that would withstand the testing of the production unit. It amazes how scared people get from a simple dyno graph, changing the rules like a ninja! lol

Lol nobody is scared of partial dyno charts . I wanted to see if setup was gonna be at the track . I made 920 this weekend with a borg billet 67 on 34psi sae settings . So uncorrected like your graph it makes around 930. Do I think the car would make 1000 on 40 plus psi . Don't know , but from what I can tell the 6785 will run great . I don't think it crushes the competition . Hell Jason marsh made over 930 with a 6765? Nothing fancy no crazy web cams so really why would any one be scared , even if they ain't a magic ninja ?

Do you think the Borg 67 is capable of making over 1000hp

Jason, I didnt say you were, I guess it just a coincidence that this graph hits and bam a few hours later a rule change occurs to favor the borg 67mm. Just a coincidence I guess.

The graph is a pull hitting 42 and tapering 40.

I seen this coming for sometime now. Precision has the pt7285 rated at 1400 hp so a billet 67mm with the same turbine wheel can make 1000+whp with the right combination of parts. These turbos are nothing new just a improvement on the turbos from the past. If you look at many Commercial Tractor and truck Turbos like the holsets they have small compressor wheels and huge turbines. Exhaust efficiency will always be a major key to making power when it comes to turbo setups. The borg warner s400sx-67 made great power considering all they did was put a 67mm compressor wheel on a s372 turbocharger that has a 83mm turbine wheel. So the next logically thing to do is stick a billet compressor wheel on there and wala you got a bad *** turbocharger. lol precision picked up their game and added a bigger turbine wheel to a great turbocharger and now the birth of the gt6785.

Roger posted this an hour after your thread...

RULE REVISION:
in the interest of ensuring parity we have made the following changes;

Sport FWD

All Brands. 4 cyl. and 6 cyl.*"SFWD Trim" Must have*2 front seats and Interior panels required. No rear seats OK. No Gutted out cars permitted. Max Tire 25" x 9". Open exhaust OK. Lexan prohibited. Water to Air intercoolers Prohibited. 1 piece fronts prohibited. 3 piece fronts OK. 72mm max inducer turbo size (Max 102mm Exd-billet, 105mm exd-cast. Up to 67mm-max exd 94mm). Up to 2 Power adders allowed(comb ok) Fuel Cell OK - NHRA guidelines MUST be followed.**.400 PT, Sportsman Ladder.*Must have 16 cars for full payout

There are no specs on your new turbo so how could this be made against it? The s400 has been out over a year, and has been considered the biggest 67mm for a while now... I thought the turbo rules were posted for honda day allready? whats the exducer size?

Do you know how many people called precision asking for the exducer number on this compressor this morning?

The dyno sheet was up on facebook all weekend. The world doesnt revolve around h-t posts.

It doesnt matter, hopefully jason miller doesnt do the same because a bunch of people have ordered this turbo already.

I'm sure the turbo is really expensive like over 3k. I'm happy with my t3 6765
