It happened this morning and it was pretty cold so it could just be a cold thing, but the car had some crazy noise happening this morning.

When I would depress the gas when the clutch was in, or when I would release the clutch, I'd get a popping noise similar to an axle pop or old springs wearing back in.

Any thoughts?

 

Possibly throwout bearing or the springs falling out if your clutch. Did the nose go away or is it constant?

 

What do you mean? It's constant if I'm under accel, or engaging the next gear. Doesn't make any sounds when cruising at a speed or have the clutch disengaged.
