DIY S2k Cluster into EG

Hello everyone,

My name is Cody and this is the first time I am doing a DIY, I am going to try to make it was simple yet have enough to more than enough information so that anyone can understand it. I looked at a bunch of DIY and none of them fully explained how to do it. For those of you who think you can understand it quickly I will provide a link to my DIY Video (:! Ok so lets get your s2k cluster into your eg!!!!!

First thing you will need to do is take off the dash inside the car.

There is two Phillips screw up. Unscrew These

You will need to GENTLY pry out the hazard lights. This can be easily done with a flathead or your nails. Do not yank it out because it plugged in. Unplug the plug

Next place a flat head under the dash and slide out GENTLY. DO NOT PULL DASH ALL THE WAY OUT

Pull The Dash out just enough to where you can locate the Clock Plug then Unplug that

Now you can take out the dash, the cluster it self has 4 Phillips screws. Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right. Take those out. Now Gently Wiggle the cluster out of the car. Now you will have to unplug the cluster

DO NOT FOLLOW A B OR WHATEVER!! JUST FOLLOW THE COLOR CODE!! IF YOU FOLLOW THE LETTER CODE FROM THESE TWO DOWN HERE IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE ONE ONTOP AND YOU WILL BE CONFUSED AS HELL

I suggest wiring everything up before you decide to solder it.


I took the pigtails from the EG and snipped of a little bit and used that color and just twist it into the s2000 pigtails.



That’s how mine came out. Do not be alarmed because there maybe wires you do not use. There was a lot of power and ground wires so I just used tape to show which ones were ground and which ones were wires.



Testing it

I did not take a picture of the soldering/ heat shrink however that is located in my video.

The reason you have to get a gauge now is because Modifry is sold out or either doesn’t make it anymore ):
