Mpfi swap high ide???
before i start this is my first post my name is justin i have a 88 dx that im doing a multiport swap to. Im using a pm6 ecu and a a6 manifold. the swap is done and seems to be running good except its ideling at 2500rpm and throwing a code 9 and 10. So far iv checked for vacuum leaks and havent found any, made sure the throta l cable is adjusted rite and switched the iat sensor and checked all the wiring and its all rite any ideas on what could be causing the high idel would be a huge help thanks.
Iv checked the blue wires they are hooked up rite ill try switching the white wires tomarow and see what happens and im reusing my iat sensor from my dpfi manifild it wasnt throwing a code b4 so i cant see it randomly going out like rhat
what colour is the iat sensor plug you're using? there is a left over plug that is darker that some people mix up. always re check wiring, even when you think its right it can be wrong.
eg. converted my b16 to obd1 recently using a diagram online to switch over my obd0 plugs to the obd1 distributor and engine wouldnt start.. checked for a different diagram and it was completely different and engine started.
also year ago when doing my first mpfi conversion i mixed up a few wires causing some weird idle issues. those distributor wires fade badly over the years.

So i just got done tripple checking all the wires from ecu to where the go i have a white plug with a red/yellow and a green/white wires comming from it and the cps wires are in the rite place the car is also now throwing a code 14 witch i belive is the iacv But still holds a steady idel now at 2200 rpm.
Finaly got my ef running rite today my pcv valve was cracked and causing a vacuum leak replaced that and now its running great dpfi to mpfi is a great mod tons of more power .nex is a 5spd swap and a a6 cam i have laying around
