Street Stock
Whats the record?
What are the requirements?
Slicks? Street Slicks?
I need to know exactly what to do to take that record.
And...what is the record? Does that black East Coast coupe from Florida still have it?
See you guys out in E-Town late this year.
Thanks in advance.

What classes are left in the all motor category?
I am putting together a B series integra. What class can I set the car up for?
My goal is to make it out to E-Town with TB Motorworx and run out there.

there is a list of dif classes but some sanctioning bodies have there own variations to the rules. Your best bet is to meet NHRA safety requirements and then figure out what your local host of the race requires as far as interior, slicks, weight, etc. Hope this helps.

I know at last year west coast nationals in sacramento where they had the big outlaw and all motor shoot outs they had a "street stock class" basic rules were any b18 in a dc chasis, andy b16 in a eg / ek / ef chasis i think they were even letting b20 vtec slide in a dc chassis. full interior, no lexan, it had to be a "street car" slicks were allowed and I believe open exhaust was allowed. the winner last yera was an eg with a b16b bored and stroked out to 2.0 l of displacement and went about 12.5 or so. That being said a well built b18 in a dc that has been lightened a little could be competitive. Then the rest of the time run bracket or index classes.

Thats not the class I am trying to compete in. I don't have the $$$ to compete with those guys right now.
I want to run in the all motor class right below them.
As for the orginal question on records in Street Stock there were two versions of that class. Nhra had a class that allowed swaps but required bfg drag radials (title sponsor of the class). The record in that class was set by Brian Fischer at 11.32@122. Under Boti/Nscra rules which allowed slicks but not swaps I believe there may been a couple passes in the 11's in competition but don't know what the record is/was. I would absolutely love to see the class make a comeback but I don't see it happening. Sucks because it was a really fun and competitive class.
Unfortunately with the exception of IFO I don't think any orginization has a class below all motor street. If you are looking to run in Nj your only choices are bracket/index or get slaughtered in All Motor.

What were the weight restrictions if you recall? My goal is to get the car at ~1900lbs with me in it (I'm 240). But I don't want to shave to much weight and then have people talk **** that my car is under weight and that's why I went so fast.
My goal is to be somewhat competitive with the street all motor guys next year, I know I wont win much because I will only be around ~280whp...but I will at least have fun, which is exactly what I am trying to do with this car.
NSCRA ran a "Street Stock" class at one time, but since they don't come north of Florida any longer, I don't follow them. This was a mid/low 12 second field.
Try a google search on NSCRA and find out if they still have the class.

i had the record o NHRA BFGoodrich street stock 2007 11.9 @116 2,160 pounds street tires drag radials on b series Brian Fisher have record on k series 11.3 @124 2006 2,200 pounds

It's not under classes, so I guess it's gone unfortunately.

But it seems like I am building a car for a class that doesn't even exist anymore.
Unfortunately street stock is dead, can always run AMS at IFO it's pretty similar.
If you come east for shootout run 11.50 index, sounds like that is about the goal you are trying to hit.

I'm trying to get a few guys from my coast to go out there for the E-Town finals, hopefully if everything goes well 4 cars from our side will make it out there. Worst case scenario only TB will only go out, but I really would like to take my car out there as well once the car is done.
11.50 is closer to what I need.
