heater motor or panel dont work
Got a 97 gs integra with a 2001 type r dash an the heater motor or buttons don't light up. I'm still getting lights around the ashtray an panel with the headlights on. When you push any button on the panel the green leds don't light up. I just recently swapped out a built type r engine because it spun a rod bearing. I swapped in a 97 b18b for its replacement. I changed the 40amp blower motor fuse under the hood in the fuse box, changed the heater blower relay, checked all fuses under the dash. Have no clue on why its not working. It worked before installing the engine.
Forgot to mention that the blower motor isn't turning on at all. I don't know if it will help anyone help me out but I removed the alram system that was in the car. It wasn't the kind with the remote start so that's why I'm clueless.
After work tonight ill pull out the climate control an check the circuit board for burnt or damaged solder joints. That has to be the issue because there are no fuses that control just the led buttons on the climate control. It is the oem type r carbon fiber unit.
im having the same issue, fuses are fine i pulled it completely apart didnt see anything..hope we can find an answer! course I haven't searched >_>
Just took the whole climate control panel out of my teg. I took the whole unit completly apart an the only thing I'm seeing is a couple solder joints by the main plug that are kinda brown. I don't know where to go from here. Maybe get a used unit off of ebay? How do I know if its bad?
Its beeen fixed since Saturday. I swear I double an tripple checked all fuses but one was still hiding out. Lil 7.5amp lol still have to put the dash back together. Are the leds suppose to turn on when pushed? Or with the headlights on?
