I just bought a 99 Civic SiR (American Si) I got looking around the engine bay and found this wire dangling there. The 2 wires are yellow/green. I found it while looking for my o2 sensors that I cant seem to find either. I looked on the back of the exhaust manifold. They are stock headers as well. Its a stock b16a2. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!!

Oh and I dont think the car is chipped, but I will have to check later because I need to take it to the shop for a safety. Gonne see what cel is being thrown while im there

 

Almost positive that is the reverse indicator.
The other end should come from a sensor located on the front lower side of the transmission.

 

That plug is for the backup light switch. The O2 sensor is located right after the collector on the downpipe, just before the cat.

 

Hey your right, checked my reverse lights and they dont work to big surprise. I found the sensor and the line coming off of it is missing its clip at the end and the wires are mangled. Gonna have to extend the wires to reach. Should I look for a new clip or just cut the other one off and attach?
