All motor, an H will generally put down more power than a B.

I hate these threads.
H has the most power. Requires cutting and possibly fabrication to make work. You might get 30MPG out of it.

Research H2B and come back with real tech questions.

all motor build will include i/h/e, password jdm fender bolts, and painted VC. then a hacked wire tuck and another thread asking why "insert electrical component" isn't working right.

if you cannot make a conscious decision on your own about which motor to go with, you probably shouldn't be building a motor anyway..

When you put it on a dyno then you'll know.

OP asks what motor will put down more power, ignores recommendations, then expects us to do arm chair dynos.

How much power your motor puts down depends entirely on factors that we have absolutely no way of knowing. Do the build, get it together, get it on a dyno, and find out.

If you actually bought all that stuff, you wasted alot of money to not go very fast.

I had a change of plans because a engine fell into my lap that i couldnt pass up. Now I'm going to have to switch to another turbo build.

><
I'm slightly jealous, I've been hunting for a good-condition EG hatch for awhile now, none are in great shape here in Ohio.

If you aren't looking to boost, like the above recommended, H is the way to go.
Boost with more money, B series can put out some good power; it all depends on your dedication and budget.
