So far the car is sitting on jack stands still. Waiting for my mounts from ExplicitSpeedPerformance.net to come in sometime next week hopefully and I can drop the H22 in. Remember the motor has been completely rebuild with new seals and gaskets. I'm aiming around 210whp tuned.

Here's a pic of the headers. Not the best welds which makes me kind of disappointed. Not too satisfied but I'm going to get them rewelded.

Here's the motor yes the motor is actually laying down but i flipped the pic so it's right side up.

Here's my newest parts that came in last week my 450cc injectors and my ecu

Yeah the quality and performance of those particular headers has been the topic of conversation more than a few times around here. Unfortunately the conversion is usually not siding with the manufacturer!

Yeah, I seem to recall many discussions in GDD about where they may be coming from.
Question about that header too, I may just be being dense, but what are the springs on there for?

Yea I've seen the discussions and honestly I would have to agree with them unfortunately...Since they are all "custom" made with the spec sheet you send them it's funny that my buddy that only has bolt ons has a 3" collector when he isn't going to be producing as much power as I am and doesn't even have any kind of mods that would yield him enough power to really need a 3" collector but with my spec sheet and my build I get a 2.5" collector...when I called originally to order them Julio said their technicians would determine what would be best for my build....fail much

The springs are to hold the headers together because it's a 2-piece not a single piece. Some people said they've had problems with it leaking air but my buddy with bisi headers said he's had no problems.

Nah, just wait for them. Better than doing it twice. I hate myself for not getting the rear and tranny mount. So now I'mma have to buy them and struggle putting them in which I know will suck! Lol. So just wait for them. Do it once bro. It'll pay off.

Bummer about those headers, but it's a really awesome build. Subscribed.

another person unsatisifed with bisi products how unusual.......

u should complain to bisi and ask for a full refund and invest in a logic header. things have slightly more gain and more midrange(believe midrange cant be certain). also cheaper.

and be sure u use the intake manifold support bracket that goes from the block to the underside of the manifold. i didnt see it in the pic which is why im saying something. the vibrations from the engine can crack/break the intake manifold where it bolts up to the head if u dont use the support bracket. most likely wouldnt happen, but with a skunk2 manifold might as well be safe than sorry.

Ok I need a lil help guys I bought a 1995 accord that came with a rev top h22a with weisco pistons and eagle rods but the guy never changed the ECU so the motor ran sluggish but I am swapping that motor into a 1991 accord and I just need to know what's the best route for me to go about getting an ECU and if I need wiring jumper from obdo to obd1. Any answer would be great

I know youre a new user but you need to answer a few posts then make your own post. You will need an ecu to support your setup with a chip, hondata, neptune, crome etc and have it tuned on a dyno

Your 91 is OBD1 so you won't need any conversion harness if you run a chipped and dyno tuned OBD1 ECU. If you are taking the block out and swapping it into another car. i would suggest that you take the vlave cover and oil pan off so that you can confirm what really has been done to the engine as far as go fast goodies.

Once you know what you have for an engine. You should get in touch with a local tuner and see what they recommend for tuning hardware. they will be able to fill in all the blanks for ECU's and tuning.

The best route is to get another engine, a jdm h22a. Its practically plug and play, after running your vtec, knock, and iab wires.
