However I want to know if anyone can recommend the right exhaust application for my Project. It's been discussed for the most part but wanted to know if anyone could suggest on some new system.

What is the Proper exhaust system diameter for maximum velocity on a N/A (B16A OBD1)motor? (I've read on here that the bigger the hole, doesn't relate to the highest output of HP).

Also, I'm looking for a system that performs and is as quiet as possible. Any suggestions? (Anything sounding like a Infinity G35?)

You'll make more power with a 3" exhaust, but you'll also be alerting every cop in your state that you're starting up your car.

I recommend 2.5" for most every N/a applications driven on the street simply for sound purposes.

Be sure you get a good resonator (I prefer the 4" round mufflers from magnaflow) and a good muffler and catalytic converter.

I've got a 2.5" mandrel exhaust, the longest 2.5"x4" round muffler magnaflow makes and I think my car sounds great. I'm using a magnaflow Dbx muffler, not sure I'd buy it again because I had to use the long magnaflow in-line muffler to get the car quiet enough for my liking. The vibrant flat black street power muffler is very popular.

Yes indeed, this topic has been beaten half to death. PM me if you have any questions, I've spend probably $600 total getting my exhaust to sound the way I want it, and there are a TON of resources in the various forums about exhaust sizing and sound.
