I had just purchased fog lights on ebay from Hong Kong. The ad said 96-97 fog lights (my car is a 96 accord by the way). When I got them they don't fit because of different brackets. Does the CD6 Accord have a different bumper than the U.S. spec Accord?

 

They shouldn't. On my front bumper, you mount the fog lights in the lower opening on the sides closest to the bumper lights. I do believe prior to 96 they were built in Japan before permanently built in Ohio. Mine was assembled in Ohio. They should fit. Post pictures of the lights and your bumper.

 

there is a chance that you got v6 fog lights...but the usdm and the jdm fogs are the same

 

The clear fog light is the one that came originally with the car.

 

Any ideas as to how I could mount the fogs? The screws on the fogs are rusted and seized, so changing the brackets is probably not an option.
