Trans is an 88 crx si 21 splines. engine is d16z6 with a ebay f1 8.5 flywheel i want to put a spec stage 3 clutch for an 88 crx trans 21 spline. i'm pretty sure it will work but wanted to double check before i order this.

 

not going to work - 88 clutches are 200mm diameter - the D16Z6 flywheel is made for a 212mm diameter clutch - the 200mm diameter clutch pressure plate for the 88 won't bolt onto the flywheel made for the 212mm clutch

88 si trans on a z6 engine. it says in the description the clutch is 210mm... no specs on the fly wheel.. so i must have a 88 fly clutch and flywheel now in my car if it is running and driving.... so i can just order a new clutch for an 88 21 spline?

 

what brand of clutch are you planning to order? if you just order a clutch for the 88 you will get a 200mm diameter clutch and you need a 212mm diameter with 21 splines
