+ offset vs 0 offset for traction purposes?
I heard some guy talking about how a 0 offset wheel would be better versus a +15 offset wheel for a FWD for traction reasons? Could anyone please enlighten me? Thank you.
Well I bought diamond racing steelies (stupid me) for my CX (i think i have borderline down syndrome no power steering and 25 lb wheels) and I told him the offsets and he's like why is your front so high? you should've gotten zero for better traction. (As if people care about traction when they slam the crap out of their cars) Anyway I only bought the diamonds cause I got them for a steal new tires + good condition wheels for $400 and I had a tire blowout on the freeway (stock 13" steelies) so I was forced to put these on. Tomorrow I am buying another 13".
