Default Installation of Comptech I/H/E completed :o :o :o!!! : )

First of all I'd like to give a big thanks to http://www.tracracingparts.com, Comptech, UPS, my 0% apr credit card, the car gods, the excellent wheather I had today, my brother, my mom and dad who don't support my car mods, but support me going to school, therefore paying my schooling and rent, so I can spend all my work money on my car, my hot *** co-worker who let me use her clean garage, and my work who gives me the money to support my car mods.

Basically the whole I/H/E was easy, funny and a big learning experience. The whole job is not completely done for a few reason, but everything is on and and the GSr runs like well maybe an ITR.

I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Pape, mama, baby bear.

Comptech I/H/E in it's glory

Pretty bad *** shot of the exhaust tip

Stock intake off, thank god

Intake installed

Doesn't look good, i.e. take notice of the top bolt compared to the bottom.

Oh now I understand why people replace stock POS exhaust.

It's ON!

Header of, btw I took it off as all in one peice.

Now take a look at the two of those and tell me what you think, BTW what the hell is that snakey thing coming out of the Comptech header.

Oh, it's just the ******* 1 0f 2 of O2 sensors.

And this is what I get, yeah I got major problems with the ******* engine, no it's just that the O2 sensor is disconnected for the electical outlets.

And this is what I get for being to excited and trying to get to work in time, as I was screwing in the final bolt that attached the header to the cat.

BTW with my GSR only having 11,250 miles on it do you guys think it was necessary to replaced the stock header gasket?

Thanks,

Alex

SWEEETTTTT!!!!

My car had 31k on it when I pulled the stock mani and put on a DC, the gasket looks great, and doesnt leak... So youre fine with the stock one!

I broke that same ******* bolt... luckily we had a parts Integra lying around I could jack one from. My exhaust leaks at the donut connecting the header to the exhaust though, and im too lazy to fix it!

Yes, you should always replace gaskets when replacing parts i.e. intake manifold, header, and what not.

Well lets not talk about the header gasket. I think mine is fine as Comptech says you can reuse your old one, so that's all said and done. Now let's talk about the damn primary O2 sensor. As you can see the sensor disconnected from the connector, so how do I get the O2 wires back in the connector and what wires go in what holes. The O2 sensor eventually disconnected due to the ******* torque they place on that bolt that attaches the o2 sensor to the header.

My plan is to just go to acura and have them fix this high tech o2 sensor problem. Cause it seems like know one knows enought info on O2 sensor, especially in this case.

That, is what I need, a helms manual. And I tried pluging them into the correct holes, but they just won't snap in, they kept sliding out.

I've got the helms if you need it DOC.

So, how does it sound? Does it pull harder? Are you happy?

That's great man. How much power difference do you feel, I know you spent a pretty penny on those products.

Here's some more pics. Can't remember what some of you guys were asking, but as far as performance is concerned, well the it pulls/more responsive from 500-4400 rpms and of course after 4400 rpm's it pulls harder, but then the secondaries at 5600 rpms and it pulls real hard. I'm so happy with the $1400 I spent on this install and this is the $1400 that Mike from http://www.diabloautosports.com missed out on. Check sign for details. Anyways if any of you guys are looking or thinking of a new i/h/e I highly recommend the setup and of course acura does as well.

Before

After, it turned GOLD

there's the 2 split.

what a difference

starting at 4

Yes or No, I don't have a lot of theives in my area.

Ooops I'm on my brothers account.
