Default tanabe exhaust

Quick question. I tried searching on the net and on this forum for the dimensions of the Tanabe Medallion Touring catback exhaust for a del sol. I know they make one for it. I just wanna make sure it wont stick out too far before I buy it
Thanks!

If it does stick out too far, why can't you have it modified to fit?

There's not much a band saw and a mig welder can't solve when it comes to exhaust.

No, he's talking about cutting the piping between the muffler and your header to make it fit.

Correct. And even if you did need to make the tip shorter, any competent mechanic could make it look good or the same as it did before, just shorter.

It's exhaust work, ain't hard.

The reason I ask is because there isn't much room where the muffler is located. I originally wanted the Ws2 catback but the total length of that muffler is about 27 inches and that's way to long

goto summit and look at some dimensions of their magnaflows or whatever else they have.

As long as you run a decent resonator, it shouldnt sound raspy.

If you need a whole tubing kit, then its custom work.. which any welder with a brain and fab up.

look here for a kit

Cutting the pipe shorter wont do any good lol, the muffler is meant to hang from a specific point so really the dimensions of the canister and tip are his issue. Get a stock dc2 gsr exhaust welded up it will look great. Not sure about del sols but it actually bolts right up to an ej1.
