I have a 1993 Integra with a B18 and a automatic trans. Im taking the B18 to put in my VX but want to know if I can swap a D15b into the integra and run that on the auto transmission?

 

why would you ever wanna do that?????

really dude.. if u wanna go fast get a manual transmission car.. otherwise leave them alone for your own sake..

 

thats how i learned, the hard way...i got this integra, and i wanted to go fast and kept spending money trying to go fast, realizing that you cant go fast unless your manual .....i used to get clowned on for trying to race with stickshift cars...now my integra is a 5 speed swap....soon to have a vtec head swap, with an si or gsr tranny whatever i can get my hands on

 

No d15 wil not mount to a b series auto tranny... Just swap a 5 speed d series trans in if you want to go that way but your not going to get more cash.. you might even get less cash then if it was a shell...just sell the shell and engine and trans seperate you know your B series motor wont mount to the old d series trans right?

 

to everyone so far, the hatch i putting the b series in is a 5speed. The auto trans is in the integra which i dont care for. I'm thinking now it may be easier to just pull the d15b and trans, and convert the integra to 5speed however, i cant find the proper mounts for the conversion (i have found alot for a be series just not a d series....if anyone has a link or hint that would be nice).
Selling the shell and d15b and trans may be a good option i just think it would take longer. The shell is in pretty good shape though.
