trans diffrences..P2A5 and P2U5
i am currently in the slow process of swapping all my goodies off my 94 accord ex onto my 97 acura cl and i am now coming down to the drivability part..
the acura i picked up has the obd2 f22b1 with the P2A5 trans on it, and the 4-5th gear changes always grind abit, and the trans also feels like its been beat on quite abit in its 166k life
and my 94 accord ex has the obd1 f22b1 with the P2U5 trans and even though it has 217k on it, it doesnt have any grinds and it feels more solid than the acura's trans
is there any small diffrences between these 2 transmissions at all? gear ratios smaller? ect. id like to findout because if its essentially the same between the 2 then id like to put the P2U5 on the acura if everything is simular since the engines and cars are identical...i tried researching information on the P2A5 but it seems to me like its an odd-ball trans because it seems like its not too common
thanks in advance

The P2U5 has a shorter 4th gear. http://hondaswap.com/reference-mater...n-specs-29132/. I would just swap the U5 on the Acura.
