new to ef and swaps.. got a few questions
First off ive been around here for a while but ive never done a swap i always ran integras...
Ive done a search and i still have some questions although i appreciate everyones valuable information. I have a 92 turbo ls DA integra that i want to swap everything into an 89 Ef hatch. The hatch has a stock d15b with an automatic tranny.
My questions are as follows:
I heard DA mounts will work in an ef chassis then i heard only some of them do and you need a mix of aftermarket hasports etc.
Is it easier to do an obd0 harness to obd1 conversion or is it easier for me to swap over my entire wiring harness to include both fuse boxes etc from my integra?
Can i use my integra hubs and brakes without any issues im assuming the stock ef hubs will not work with b series axles.
Do i need to do mpfi conversion if i swap the entire integra wiring and engine harness?
I know alot of these questions have already been answered im just about to do my first auto to manual, obd0 to obd1, and d to b series conversion and im reading over all these different threads and none seem to be for my exact swap situation doing all this at once.
Thanks everybody

i don't not know about the DA mounts in an ef.
what year is your DA?
the dx hubs will fit a b series axle.
you should do a mpfi conversion. never heard of swapping different model harnesses before.

i would just buy after market mounts. there worth it.
Either hubs will work aslong the ef is not a std. DA hubs have bigger brakes, but i think it gives you a little camber problem tho since they are a tad bit taller
Dont even try to swap harnesses just get a jumper harness.

Use after market mounts. DX hubs will fit the B series axles. The DA front brake swap works fine for me, lower the car and you get negative camber boom solved. Yeah jumper harness ftw or rywire...
DA mounts will NOT work in an EF chassis. You need to get a set of swap mounts like HASports.
You can NOT use the integra harness in the EF, it will not connect to the car. You will have to convert the EF to MPFI, then modify the EF harness to OBD1 connections.

Okay damit. Da mount do not work on an ed. Buy a swap kit! China is your friend if your low on cash you can get a decent china kit on ebay and have acceptable engine placement. The only da mount that does "work" is the trans mount BUT it sits wack!!! Do not use it we ran that back in the day do no regress only progress.

Thank for the replies guys so i will convert to mpfi and get an obd0 to obd1 jumper harness . Get a set of mounts from hasport and then im set i have 1000 cc injectors that are peak and hold so i can leve th resistor box. Im not running vtec so i dont need todo wiring for that. I can use the pedal set from the theintegra thefront brakes the rear disc brake conversion from da integra either spindles or trailing arms only. Am i missing any thing??
Its a obd1 b18a1 turbo setup cable tranny...coming out of a 92 DA

Hey guys just thought anout this the chassis under the hood wiring harness is obd0 are any of those connections going to connect to my obd1 motor? Or is only the injectors and distributor different?
You should get the wiring schematics for both cars and compare. Or like SLOWAZNUTZZ24 said look for a jumper harness.
If i get a jumper harness that only allows my obd1 ecu to connect to the existing obd0 harness. What about the chassis harness under the hood is there a conversion barness fired that too?
I have seen harnesses that have a seperate aux harness with the extra wires run to the new sensors. It is not that your connectors wont fit on the obd1 motor more than it is the needed wires for the obd1 motor dont exisit in the obd0 harness such as knock etc.... The old EF with obd0 never had a knock sensor...(corrent me if I am wrong, I am pretty sure they never did). When I did an obd1 LS vtec swap in my crx, I bought a distributor jumper harness and a obd0 to obd1 ecu harness. The harness had everything run in the proper pins for the ecu, and I just had to wire in the sensors to the designated the colors. (came with instructions) What I did was create a seperate aux harness with old honda connectors I had and ran wired everything up that way.
So basically everything will connect to the motor except for the sensors that are not even there on the obd0 chassis harness. The obd1 ecu conversion harness should have those extra pinouts from the ecu so all i need to do is some hard wiring or cut the connectors off my DA chassis harness and wire them to the conversion harness wires im running from the ecu. For example i would see knock sensor wires from harness extend and run those to the engine bay and wire it to the old plug off myintegra harness?
this guy makes beast harnesses for cheaper then NAME BRANDS

Rywire is real good, I personally went with locashracing

hey guys sorry to bring my little thread back from the dead ....
I got everything, mounts, harness, everything is good to go, like I mentioned before I have my 92 LS integra sitting here, which I was going to use the pedal assembly from, I keep getting mixed answers about whether the DA pedal assembly will work or not.
it is a cruise control integra, anyone have any specifics about what I need to do to get this to work?
I have a plasma cutter and welder if I need to do some modifying, obviously I wouldn't like to if I dont have to.
Thanks again guys!

I'm in so cal if your looking to do a dpfi to mpfi conversion jumper harness is a koo buy get a obd0-obd1 distributor and ecu jumper I got my guy that has them at 80 for both or we can just convert the whole thing over I'll charge 120 or 80 if u go the jumper harness route.
Innovation mounts work just fine
