98 Accord EX dumping Coolant out, Steaming out side! PLS HELP!
Hello! I have recently been reading the forums to solve multiple problems of mine, but i havent been able to find anything to help me with this. Two weeks ago i was having some overheating issues, so i replaced the thermostat and that seemed to take care of it. I noticed i had a small radiator leak so against my better judgement i used a can of Bars Stop leak two days ago. Yesterday everything was good, coolant was not leaking. Today on my way to work my car overheated, i pulled over and let it cool. After filling it back up with coolant, i tryed to continue to work. Made it about 2 miles before it started overheating again( Heater didnt work). I popped the hood and coolant was gushing out from somewhere torwards the back left side of my car(Steam was pouring out from the left side, below the engine.). It almost looks like a radiator hose is busted but they are not. Please any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks much!!

Rule one...well not a rule, but anything besides coolant should never go in your rad. You may have opened a can of worms.Make sure to check all your coolant lines and clamps. Your stop leak could have even gummed up your new thermostat, heatercore.
When you say back left, is that passenger side? Sounds like a busted heater hose going to the firewall. There are 2 hoses that come from that side of the block. Look just below the valve cover. I had one burst on me and it was challenging to replace because of the lack of space to tighten the clamp. If its the other side, then could be waterpump.
