hey guys so i jus installed a gsr tranny on my ek hatch.

everything is running but now when i turn either left or right its harder
and if i turn too sharp my wheels squeaks.

idont have any power stearin in my car but i never had it before either and my last tranny was an ls tranny but worked fine easy turns and stuff but right now its really hard to turn is that normal cause the lsd gives it more tracktion or what?

and also when im on 3rd 4th and 5th. it sounds like my tires are rubbing to my fenders but its not.....

can anyone tell me whats wrong or have an idea of whats wrong

 

You put the tranny on urself?

 

yeah me and my friend did.

 

it's the lsd my friend. gurantee, i had mine professionally installed, since i didn't have the tools, and after getting it back i noticed as well steering was a tad more difficult. you'll get used to it though.

 

im not sure if you did or if you need to....but do change the axles since you had an ls tranny to gsr axles?
I think there is a difference but not positive.

just a thought since you are hearing noises

 

when you put it into gear and are going slow, do you hear ticking?
