front console noise
hello,
I have a '91 Integra DB1. I spent so much on the engine and drivetrain, but I did nothing (since I dont know much about it) about inside the car.
When I drive on not-so-good roads, there's too much vibration and noise coming from the console and doors.
Why does this happen ? Should I dissamble everything and put it back in some way ? Should I change the screws ? fasten them ? or anything ?
What do you recommend ?
The car is at 230.000 miles.

I use the foam window seal tape (you can get it at Home depot). I recommend getting several types, including one that is mostly flat and a thicker one. Sometimes I also use 3m trim mounting tape (you can get it in the automotive section of walmart.)
Tightening screws might help. 3m trim tape will definitely help. Foam tape will likely help. Really, you just sandwhich it between any pieces that look like they are rattling/squeaking.

hmm
I did not think about it before..
well, let's say I put it everywhere and stopped noise. is it easy to clean it if I need to break it in the future ?
thanks!

The foam tape comes off fairly easily, even after a few months sandwhiched and any residue that is left can be cleaned using a simple rag with goo-gone or simplegreen. The 3m trim tape sticks like mad and is alot harder to cut through.
