Acura Integra Type R Transmission
Here is the story:
Sold a brand new transmission buyer said 5th gear and reverse grinds and sometimes doesn't go in. I gave the buyer a refund.
When I got back the transmission, I used a shift linkage to try firth and reverse goes in fine.
So what I think is the buyer either lied or it indeed does grind 5th and reverse with engine running. Maybe it's simple installation error at Honda Factory.
Mind you this WAS A Brand New Lsd transmission which was purchased from Honda. There is no warranty so don't ask, sold as is. I have told you what the problem is or what I think the problem is.
ANYWAYS THIS IS SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY OR RETURNS. EITHER YOU GET IT FIXED OR IT MIGHT BE STILL GOOD. I JUST DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT
$1100 SHIPPED.

Sounds like the buyer got cold feet... Tranny should be mint :D

quit whining... The buyer was probably like you whining kids and realized he spent too much and lied about it being broken to get his money back. OP, are you sure the LSD wasn't snatched out of it and given back? If the final drive or lsd was tampered with, it would explain the issues.
