Im gonna put a used b20 from hmotorsonline.com and goin to put in a 91 crx si. Is there any problems that wud occur or things i shud look out for?

 

no problems. bang out the driver wall for the alternator... make sure you have the computer and dizzy the same obd, whether you decide to keep it obd0 or convert it to obd1.

oh, and search a little more on b series engine swaps.... theres definitely plenty of information on this forum

 

which ecu wud be better? this car will be my daily driver and i might boost it too. and does a long block come with a tranny?

 

nope better start lookin for a tranny, axles, half shaft, motor and tranny mounts, alternator, and linkage for the tranny as for a ecu i only swapped a ls before n i converted to obd1 and used a obd1 pr4, im not sure if that would run a b20 the best but it should run it, and if i remember i changed my front hubs so integra axles will work

and also what wud be the best tranny to go with that engine? i want a daily driver but one that i can play around with from time to time. wud a gsr be the best choice?

 

If you can get your hands on a jmd b18c type r trans you would be king. High rmps at cruising I like gsr trans also but my favorite is a hybrid b16 trans with ls final drive

 

sounds epic but I'm sure the prices are outrageous tho! lol the b20 I'm getting comes with like everything except the tranny. is there any websites that has jdm trannys that are affordable??
