95 Accord Ex Coupe Auto Tranny

Alright so I love my car, but one annoyance/problem I have and am wondering if anyone else has had this same problem:

In D4 when in third gear traveling between 25-28.9 if i release the gas, the tranny does not simply go into overdrive?(cruise?) but rather it feels catches on third and slows.

This same occurrence does not happen when I am in D3 though, or in D4 under 25.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
