Uneven bore (circle) on ported blox intake manifold, will any problems occur?
I ported my intake manifold with a dremel tool to about 2.75 inch or 70mm throttle body omni and it is a little uneven of a circle will that affect idle. I am thinking that it won't because the throttle body and gasket will be blocking the excess ported area. I really want to find out because other wise I will try to fix it, and if it is fine and will run the same either way I will leave it alone.
im sure it'll create some turbulence in the plenum. how it will effect performance, i dont know..
so it should be fine then? It won't create an idleing problem because the throttle body and gasket is blocking off the excess area I ported off, right?

doubtful since your boosting and not relying on a smooth vacuum draw like NA
of course, this is my hypothesis and not actual fact.

I highly doubt that will cause you any issue. I'd be looking elsewhere before i started pointing my finger at that for idle issues.
The only thing I could see would be turbulence in the intake manifold, but even before you bored that out the air would have hit the edges of the intake manifold and caused turbulence too, I think you'll be okay.
cool thanks everybody I haven't installed it yet but now I will And I was wondering should I try to even it out or just leave it alone and it's going together with a omni 70mm throttle body
As long as the hole on the throttle body is bigger than the hole on the manifold they'll be no issue regarding turbulence on this matter.
Their almost the same size but I was wondering if I should try to make it as even as a circle as possible or should I just leave it alone, and put it on?
You could if you wanted, you won't gain from it though. Like i say as long as the throttle body hole is smaller than the inlet hole you'll be fine.
P.S. Sorry i got what i posted above mixed up.

Ok thanks very much greatly appreciated was thinking I was screwed for a moment their "whew"

No problem
Basically what i was getting at is that you don't want the flow of air to hit a step. If its going from small > big it wont. But if its going from big > small it will.
