OMG...I just installed my ITR sway bar today...
This is the best mod I've done yet!! The install was pretty straight forward. Those spot welded nuts pissed me off, I finally just used a chisel and a hammer. After we got it installed I could not believe how the car drove. It was like a different car. My car was just about flat going around a corner. I can't wait until I can drive it some more. I use the BSQ mounting kit, which was great and I ordered all the OEM parts from acuraautomotiveparts.net. I highly recommend this modifacation. The sway bar in combinaiton with my S-03's makes if feel like my car is on rails. Here are the pics:

I didn't notice the ride any stiffer. It just felt like the car was more solid, like the car is connected to road better.
But my ride right now sucks because my factory shocks have just about had it. I'm waiting to really test out the bar with I get my Koni's

You sound just like I did when I first installed mine.
I already had Koni Yellows and ProKits at time of install and it made a huge difference.
I had somewhat crappy tires(no S-03s!) so it would break beautifully around corners if I pushed it. Stayed flat and I had some fun ebrake driftin'... My car was stolen just a short week after I finished it up.

is the install simple? how long did it take? what tools do i need?
12mm wrench
14mm wrench
drill with 3/8 drill bit
13mm socket
rachet
extention
dremel with cutoff wheels
hammer
chisel
jack
jackstands
all the stuff i used to install ITR swayway with beaks reinforcement kit
I used a hammer to start knocking out the welded nuts...chisel to further pry it off...and if need be...drill to take off the last tack weld.

Only took me about an hour and a half. The two issues I had where that I couldn't get the car as high as wanted and those spot welded nuts took a little persuading. Other then that pretty step by step from Bret Q's web site.

It dosent make the ride stiffer... i cant really explain it well though... lets see: it firms up the rear end, not like firming up shocks though, so understeer is thus reduced.

Drive down a straight road going 30-40 mph, on the stock 14mm rear sway bar, take notice of how unstable the rear end is, i.e. understeer. The do the same test as mentioned above with the ITR sway bar's and take notice now to how stable the rearend is, i.e. oversteer. The reason for the increase handleing and and oversteer in due primary to the increase stiffness of the ITr bar, i.e. over 730% more stiffness
22/14) to the 4th power = 7.30 which +730%. So yes it's like having stiffer suspension, but there is a reason why call it a sway or anti sway bar. i.e. your car won't sway into a corner as much with increase stiffness of a stiffer bar. Just remember that too much stiffness isn't necessarily good.
I have the neuspeed 19mm that came on my car, which i plan to swap out for the ITR one... Wonder what difference it will make...

23/19 * the 4th power = 2.14 or 214% increase stiffness. <---- jdm itr bar
