Default B16a 91 ef na build list.

Hey guys i have a b16a obd0 in my 91 dx hatch the guy i bought it from had done quite a bit of work so i already have full exhaust, cai, quaife lsd :D, slammed on coils, chipped ecu and in the head put dual s2 springs, s2 retainers. For the most part thats it but i blew the rings out last summer and now am planning my build never built before have been doing a lot of research and this is what ive come up with power goal is 230 whp at approx 12:1 cr. Mind you this is a very low budget build with 2000$
Nippon type r kit: heard great things about this kit. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIPPON-RACIN...#ht_6922wt_802)
Block work
Head work (shaving)
Arp head studs
S2 s2 Cams
Inectors (440 dsm seem to be the way to go)
Pherable new chips
And hopefully a intake mani down the road

Basically just looking for some input and if im missing anything

230whp?

You would be best off upgrading to a 2.0L bottom end, it would gain you tq also

Damn, i just bought a tsx k24a2 for $450, it makes 200hp stock. Keep in mind, there are a lot of options for your money these days. Trying to hop up an n/a b16 you will still have no tq through out your power band

i'm doing the same thing with my b16a, but you can't make 200whp on a b16a on $2k. :/

Get a B20 block, some cams for the vtec head with some better valve springs, that could net a couple hundred hp without to much problem and within budget
