Default B16 CRX Linkage Question

I've looked everywhere and forgive me if I missed it but just had a quick question. I am doing a B16 swap in my 91 CRX. Everything is in and it runs fine i had no issues with the main swap. However I am having issues with the shift linkage. I've cut and welded two different ones, they are both the right length but one only lets me shift into 3, 4 and 5 and the other one only lets me shift into 1, 2, 3, 4, and R. Am I doing this wrong? Should I just buy a hasport shift linkage for b series? Or Is it not even the shift linkage causing the problem??

If you're changing from two different linkages and getting two different things, the linkage is 100% the issue. Get the hasport linkage, it's guaranteed to work.

Not sure what linkage you are playing with, but all you need is a shortened b-series linkage. They are bent a certain way, it's possible you are rotating them before welding them together. That would explain the differences. You can buy another linkage or fix what you have. Should be easy to cut and re-weld.
