Default About to buy a 98 integra may I please have your advice

And so I checked out a 98 integra coupe today with 167k miles the interior and motor seems real fresh the only problem is that it probably could use some body work. It has a few dents and a few holes on the door that looks like drilled holes or something.. He's asking 3500 but I got it lowered to 3200. is this an ok deal or am I getting ripped off? I want to know if this is worth the purchase. Car has a clean title, a stereo system, and HiD headlights

at that price, mileage and the condition seeming only decent I'd pass at the price of $3200.

If you're located in Cali, I'm sure you can find something much cleaner at that price. Is it a GSR or LS integra?

If there's an internet posting it would make it easier to answer this if you posted the link on your question.

that,s a bit high for that even in good condition. the drill holes are most likley from the trim but like TYLER3 said its hard to tell without seeing it. like for insistent there is a '99 integra hatch here in my town for 2500 that's super clean

bodywork is expensive.
and damaged body can drop the price alot more than damaged engine.

With those drilled holes I'd pass.

Pics would really help us out. We dont know what we're working with.

As mentioned, without pics, it will be impossible to know.

I also agree, for $3200 it would have to be in very good condition and closer to 100,000 then 167,000 miles on it. 94

Try to get him to go lower. Even at $3200 ,for a decent integra, its a little too much. I'm assuming its a ls or gs. You could get a better one for that money, just be patient.

Sounds like a 2,000 to 2,500 car!!! Body work is at least 500, then if your repainting the whole car your looking at 1500 minimum.

Maybe if it just had the timing belt and water pump replaced it would be worth more. If not that is an added expense that is needed in the near future for that car.
