Thank you all for the replies. Some of the parts are still on order waiting for shipment,
I am still goggling a lot on how to do the swap, once Im confident enough i might go follow you guys to ditch the mechanic.

Thank you
hey guys i just did a d16y8-d15b7 mini me swap runs fine but got a really fast low high idle fluxuation any ideas i pluged each hole in the tb seperatly didn make a difference
It will for sure fit. Lots of us have done it already, I just finished mine. Did a straight MPFI conversion (PM6 ECU) for now using the late injectors, so no resistor box. Runs like a champ. Plans are to move to P28 and VTEC in the future. Been driving it OBD0 for six months, so nice to move out of that!
You probably spun a rod bearing or bent a rod. Water and compression don't get along. Did you pull all the plugs out and turn the motor over to get rid of the water?
You probably should have started a new post since your question has absolutely nothing to do with the original post.
What is the point of having a search bar if nobody is going to use it...
I remember when i was a kid and my cousin had to figure this **** out on his own before Honda-Tech
