here is the link to the car I just bought. it runs great with no CEL and trans shifts good through all 5 gears. (stick).

only bad things are the at the shifter cannot find reverse gear. and the rust. comments and or help?

it goes thru all the gears but cannot seem to find the reverse slot....there is no slot to pull the shifter down into if you know hwat I mean.

If I am in nuetral. I can go to 5th gear, but cannot find the hole for reverse. I mean its not a big deal and my teacher will look at it tomorrow, but what do you guys think>?

I cant post the pics on here for some reason....I cant save the pics to upload them. I can save them but i cant save them as the right kind of file.

And as for the ad he took it down.... any ideas on my shifter problem ? I am doing a flinstones everytime I leave a parking spot lol. my girl gets embarrased

there's no special trick to reverse. simply over all the way to the right and back. bam reverse. some times you gotta do 3rd to reverse, or start to roll forward or back to get into gear

Reverse is almost always easier to get into if you cycle through some other gears first then immediately into reverse. I do this all the time as a personal rule anyway on my older cars - never try to just immediately go into reverse, always cycle through the gears first.

I have been doing the whole cycle thru gears for like3 years also. I had a dsm lol. trannys arent that great on those. but ya guys, its not that simple...I will take a video and post to youtube later and link it here...
