O2
I spoke to a mechanic that speciziales in Hondas. He said with OBD I cars, you will rarely get a code for an O2 sensor even though it needs replacing. I told him I have 230,000km (142,000miles) and said I should replace it.
He also said in order of best performing sensor: 1)Denso 2)Bosch 3)NGK
I was surprised he recommended Bosch over NGK.
Any thoughts?

Are you passing emissions-tests? If YES, then LEAVE IT ALONE. And even if you aren't passing, chances are excellent it's not the oxygen sensor anyway.
^^while the o2 sensor may not be the initial fault, it's failure can absolutely be the result of another failure. this is why people who fail emissions always turn to either the cat or o2 sensor or both. but don't actually resolve the underlying issue and are just running on borrowed time
