Default Help, A/C not getting cold

1998 Honda Accord with 140K miles 4 cyl

Here is account of events
1. I noticed the A/C was not getting cold. Compressor is not activating
2. With a paper clip on the hi/low pressure switch, I can get the compressor to come on.
3. With engine off, Low port shows 25lbs with ambient temp at 56 degress
4. I turn on car and notice guage now shows zero..not good eh?
5. I add refrigerant with the car running and guage still shows zero
6. I check the Low port with car turned off, it was over filled so I pushed the valve to release some pressure.
7. AT 45 lbs and compressor working, A/C still not cold. The compressor clutch is definatley turning.

Help? And thank you in advanced for the education.

A 1998 Honda Accord does not use "freon". "freon" is not manufactured anymore since 1992. That car uses the refrigerant 134a.
