Default Identifying s4c LSD without removing anything

Recently swapped a 2nd gen jdm b16 into my 95 ej1 and was wondering if there was a way to tell if I have an LSD trans or not.(jdm supplier told me it was, and I payed an extra $150) It says s4c on the tag, and from my research that trans only came in LSD in the CTR? I have a hard time believing that a type r trans came bolted to my b16 swap I purchased. I was thinking could I jack it up and hold one wheel to see if it can be stopped while the other spins. I all ready took off with one wheel on mud and one on dry pavement and it seems to take off without 'diffing out' (one wheel unloading and spinning). I could also hear a whinning noise when doing it which I thought could be the LSD slipping, similar to my mustang w/posi rear end when going around tight corners. Any insight appreciated, thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post, its my first thread I've started on here.

if you are lucky you could be able te see an LSD stamp on clutch housing, near the slave clutch cylinder
or remove an axle an look throw the differential hole, empty= LSD, with an cylintrical pin no LSD

Does the spin the wheels while in the air trick work for FWD diffs?

On american cars when the car is up on stands or a lift and you turn one drive wheel the other will spin in the opposite direction on an open diff car and will turn in the same direction on a LSD.

Not sure if it's the same for FWD.

yes, differentials function the same regardless of which set of wheels they drive.

You're generalization isn't exactly accurate; if you installed a helical LSD (like a Quaife) in a Charger or Vette, rotating the drivers side tire clockwise will spin the passenger side tire counter-clockwise.

If we're talking about lockers, you're 100% accurate.

Yes interesting I had forgotten about that test in the air. So if I understand correctly that won't work on our style of factory lsd's, only on posi type lockers?
I had all ready searched all over the housing for any other markers and found nothing, do they always have the lsd stamping, or just sometimes?
I do remember looking through the axle hole before the swap and 'thought' I seen a pin through the diameter of the hole, it was several inches inside the hole. I really hope I'm remembering incorrectly, dammit. This really grinds my gears, when I went to pickup the motor at the warehouse in Toronto, they didn't have the GSR motor I really wanted, so I settled after they convinced me on the b16, then after getting home I realized they gave me one wrong axle, and the other had a tear in the boot I missed, now I'm thinking they screwed me on the LSD as well, which is the reason I settled for the b16 as I wasn't getting it with the b18c. Sorry for the rant but other than the CTR with the s4c LSD trans, are all other ones with that stamping non LSD??

What engine is in your accord? If its a b20a, I believe a b16 LSD works in a b20a tranny, but you would have to verify for sure through google searches. If its an a20 I think your sol
Swap a B or H series in that sucker
