I just bought a 2012 Odyssey EX-L without navigation. I love the vehicle except for a querk with the USB function. I have about 2000 songs on an 8 Gig Flash drive. It takes about 5 minutes for the unit to build the database. That's not bad BUT, every time I turn off the key and restart the car it has to build the database again. So I listen to the same song 2 or 3 times and can only navigate the portion of the USB that's built. Another annoyance is that I can't select a folder to play. Only choices are Album, Artist, Genre or Song. My brothers Odyssey with navigation can select Folder. My salesman is working on this. He said this is the first time anyone has complained.
Has anyone else had experience with this annoyance? Any solutions on the horizon? Seems the software needs a Patch.
