Default Alex_S - Honda CRX ED9 -90

Bought a Crx ED9 last weekend! :D The condition of the car isn't the best at the moment, but thats about to change!. The upside of it is that almost everything in the engine is changed.

Plans:
Fixing all the rust
Repaint everything, probably gonna do either championship white or R81 red
Coilovers
15 - 16" rims

Will add more to the list as time passes.

Same day as i brought it home.

Was out to the garage
As the coolant leaks i tore down the entire front of the car pretty much xD, im also gonna change the hood latch wire, and latch itself. Also i've replaced pretty much every vaccuum hoses in the engine bay.
(kass bild (Y) )

And as i had the cooler of, i thought i'd take care of some of the rust that had started to come.

Before

Result, ofcourse i did the same to the otherside

As the old radiator was leaking, i thought i'd fit a new one, the junkyard only had EG's so i bought a half size rad. Was thinking of cutting the front bar but nah, i managed to make it fit with a slight gangsta lean

Fabricating a bracket......

and done.. kinda. Not the prettiest thing but sure does the job!

I then fired up the engine, topping up coolant etc. And ofcourse a setback, car only runs on 3 cylinders, it kinda "glitches" as sometimes while driving it'l run on 4 then 3 etc.
* 9 - CYP - Cylinder position censor
* 16 - Fuel injector
I have fixed the CYP error code, but i still get the Fuel injector code, no CEL though but im not sure if the old owner has removed the bulb to it or something. I also managed to fix the hood latch problem, i managed to make a EG hood wire fit :D

Hehe yeah not sure about colourful rims either, but f it... this is gonna be different And yeah im thinking of buying 205/50-15 instead, as im not sure how low i can go to compensate for the stretch that 165's would create. we'll see!

Taken the car down to my school, haven't done much with the car itself. But making progress with the rims. They were in such bad condition i had to sand blast them. Said and done sand blasted them, Then i put a thiiiick layer of sand-primer :D

Then i tore off the sideskirts and this is what i saw (Y)Not that i expected less, but atleast welding is fun right
