If u search d15 mini me then ull get lots of info. U can either go from dual point to multi point which would require ur harness to be converted also ud need a intake manifold I would suggest a d16z6 n also a 88-91 si distributor. If u wanna go Vtec grab a d16z6 head,distributor, &complete intake manifold. As for 1/4 times it won't be insanely fast. Ull probably still be in the high 15's.
I have the D15B2 Engine in my car as well but I believe I have an Anti-freeze plug issue. There's white smoke coming out of my exhaust if I let it run for more than a few minutes and it shudders a lot once it idles for about a minute. It will stall out if I don't ease on the gas to keep it running. Also what leads me to believe that it's an Anti-freeze plug is there is a leak in the bottom center of the block. Last time I changed the oil too the oil looked like chocolate milk more of a light brown instead of the oil'ish black. My question is where should I go for a new engine and transmission since the automatic transmission in it now shifts really hard. I am physically disabled and in a wheelchair and do most my work myself but this one I definitely need some help on.
