I was changing the gasket of my taillight and I notice there's a connector. does anyone know where this connect to

 

Just a guess, but it probably goes to an option that is not on your car: umm.....3rd brake light, factory-wing-brakelight, maybe the jdm ludes had lighted sidemarkers on the side of the fenders,?? hmmm.....6-disc cd changer?? Trailer-light-harness for cars with a tow package (doubtful..lol)?

Many things it could have been. Your best bet is to find out what all factory options were available on the preludes and narrow it down to the one that would be wired there.
