Default JRSC experts please chime in 99 si

ok well my buddy has a 99 si and he says he has a bad alternator, and he wants me to go about replacing it. My question to you is this, is there anyway to remove it from the bottom? or does the whole manifold/charger have to be removed to get it out.

let me know what you guys think

manifold/charger
is the only way
just watch the alignment when you put it back in
needs to be perfect

Pain in the A job
