Default ... diy wideband power and ground wiring

... gettin ready to install the wideband this weekend... anyone got any suggestions for what wires to tap for power and ground?... dash?... ecu?... also, if you can gimme specific wires... like ecu pins or wire colors at the dash... thanks in advance...

Use a good ground from underneath the dash, or if you really want to be sure run it to the block or the battery.

Guess it wasnt clear. You can use any good ground, **** you can use the same thing that you grounded your stereo to, or tap into the ecu harness.

I would tap power from the ACC of your ignition switch.

is the accesory wire the one you wire your amp to so it only comes on when the car is turned on?

correct, but you should have the accessory wire go to a relay to switch on power directly from the battery for your controller... I wouldn't run it directly off the accessory wire.

run a fuse inline on the battery(+) ---> relay(12V in) wire for safety.

if you have the older techedge wideband 1.0, then you should connect directly to the battery. it needs at least 13.xxvolts to work
