i have a 09 civic si thinking about putting a turbo or supercharger on it not sure which one looking for inputs advice nething to help me out

My advice is highly research both and decide yourself

 

Do some research in the Forced Induction forum. Scroll down on the main page and you'll see it there.

 

turbo is much more power and is easier to install than the super charge.

Have a friend 09 civic si with turbo around 320hp on dyno

 

Neither part of that statement is necessarily true.

A smaller turbocharger could easily be less powerful than a large supercharger.

Without the need of the oil return or water lines, a supercharger can very easily be easier to install.

When both are kick-in, supercharge use more fuel then turbo. Try to think about the gas price right now. When you press the padal, supercharge kicks-in, higher RPM, more fuel. Turbo using more gas only when the turbo kicks-in during higher RPM.

Woah, this thread was very productive... Speaking from experience, research and decide on your own. You will know what you want when you research the pros and cons on both products. Both add lots of pro's to the car, but both will have a list of cons.

i myself say if you want one go with supercharger. no lag.. but otherwise id say keep it N/A.. high nat asp horse
