so i just got finished buttoning up a mini-me project i was working on and the dam car will not stay idle at all. i have no idea what could be wrong. here is a break down of the car:
1995 del sol
d15b7 bottom end
d16z6 head
turbo kit
dsm blue top 440 injectors with resistor box
p28 computer
d16z6 distributor
"claimed" d16z6 spark plug wires
oem style autolite copper plugs(for initial start up)
at first i thought i had the timing wrong or the dizzy could have been wired incorrectly for the wires going to the plugs. so i checked the wires and they were in fact wrong, and i changed them to look like this

THEN i go and try and check to see if it would fire up. still nothing. then i go and quadruple check my timing, i even went back to the stock cam gear and took the head apart to check the journals for the cam(it was being a major bitch to turn by hand) and put everything back together. finally i started the car and it half way caught. then i tried again and then i decided to give it sa little gas when i started it and it stayed on as long as i kept my foot on the gas. not to mention itwas a little shaky. does any one know if i would need a turne on something like this? i have not yet hooked up the vtec pressure switch or the solenoid. i just wanted to get the dam car running. figured it would have been much easier then i initially thought.

no its a stock p28. i ended up putting the stock injectors back in and it helped the car run a little better...at least thats what its doing now^^^
Well that only makes sense. Why would you think it would run right with 450s on stock ecu? It's never going to run right on stock ecu at least get a basemap from pherable or something till you can get it tuned

well i figured the mini me would be ok to run on the p28 with the turbo kit installed. my boy who owns the car keeps getting his panties in a wad every time i tell him something else needs to be changed and things like this take time.
