It sounds like I am dragging a stick, could it be my brake pads?

2000 LS w/auto.
My Hawk pads have 51, miles.
I have lubbed my belts.
My drivers wheel sounds like it's dragging a tree limb.
I looked under and around the drivers side, but haven't removed the tire.
I think I need to order new brake pads.
Is this what you would do?

Maybe try jacking up your car and spinning your driver front wheel...or take off your wheel and check your brake pads.

Fixed it.
It was the left rear pad. The slider pin was not sliding.
I didn't mention that I have the ITR calipers, brackets, and pads on all four corners.
I learned that the slider pins, for the rear caliper bracket are not the same.
The rear upper slider Pin B is # 43262-S84-A51 (very round)
The rear lower slider Pin A is # 43235-S84-A51 (has a flat spot along its edge)
When I removed both slider pins, from the same bracket, one was round and one had a flat spot on it. The one with the flat spot goes in the lower bracket hole (I had it in the upper bracket hole).
So, the flat sided slider pin is in the lower bracket hole and I have new pads, all the way around.
