Default bumper cover repair

Hey guys, someone at a local grocery store hit my 2011 accord without me knowing. Anyways, I want to repair this tear without bringing the car to the shop because they're gonna charge a lot for a little rip. I've heard of bondo but I have never had experience with using it and I want to have other possibly better DIY options.

Could you post a zoomed out picture or use a nickel or penny for reference? It is kindof hard to tell the extent of the damage with a photo like that.

Generally I advise against the use of bondos on bumpers at all, let alone to repair tear damage. 3m makes a decent poly bumper repair adhesive that'll cost you about 20$. Some rear areas of the bumper you should be able to get to without removing the bumper cover (well you are able to on older hondas anyway, not sure about yours.).

Basically follow the instructions on the adhesive to the T (making sure the area is very clean. Then if need be, you can get a small can of matched touchup paint (and just follow the instructions for this as well.)

Its about the size of the quarter. I would leave it alone but the car is new so I want to fix it.

If you have no experience with body work that is going to be very difficult for you to repair yourself. You would need to use the adhesive joeshmo mentioned then be able to properly sand it smooth and feather edge the repair, blend in the paint (which you would need an adhesion promoter for since it is a plastic piece) and you would have to re-clear the entire bumper because if you just clear coat the section you repaired it will delaminate.
