odd cooling question

Default odd cooling question

so a while ago i replaced most of my cooling system (hoses, water pump, radiator, radiator cap, coolant) and now im running oem coolant, and a sk2 cap. the problem im having is i let the car warm up everything is fine doesnt over heat but when i get on it the coolant temp goes low. what could it be??

theres only 2 things it could be, you either dont have a thermostat in the car or your thermostat is stuck open

Yup fuct thermostat get oem honda one instead of used junkyard one

i have a thermostat in there and i doubt that its stuck open cuz even in cold weather the car doesnt take much time warm up say 5 min or so... friend of mine ran his ek with out a thermo and that thing drove 10 miles and it wouldnt even warm up

yeah from honda, i used one from advance and sometimes it would stick open and other times it would get to like 210 before it would open, always use oem honda parts

Try an OEM rad cap.

Using a higher pressure rad cap, is usually more effective when you use a higher temp thermostat.
