The bumper on the 90-91 style jdm front ends is in fact different. It is about 2" further out forwards, and the headlights are much different in size

It will fit... However you would need the rest of the EF8 front end, otherwise it will look tacky. And by tacky I mean terrible.

You should be able to re-use the USDM fenders.

The bumper support is totally different on the japanese EF8. In reality the EF8 bumper support doesn't fit with out the support brackets either. They are two squares on each side that the four bolts on the support go into. You will have to modify the support so the bumper doesn't sag if using the ED brackets.

JDM bumpers don't use rebars. They are a thin metal bar that lines the iside of the bumper cover, thats it

The bumper should be still attached with the mounting brace. Yeah, you need headlights, hood and in my opinion, the proper T bar

Here is the front end i bought something like 5 years ago, everything i needed for the swap

front cut

and hood

and t bar, notice the spacing around the hood latch

the t bar's sweet too cuz it has a cut out for the ef8/9 air intake duct which pulls cooler air from in front of the rad instead of behind. kinda cool.

First that's a jdm crx lip, second even a usdm crx lip will not even come close to fitting an 88-89 civic front bumper. It is a lot more rounded and won't come close to fitting. I have both the 89' civic si lip and 90-91 crx lip new and they are night and day different
