I have a 1993 Prelude VTEC and I have the original center console where the e-brake is lined in the middle with no arm rest. I just bought a different console where the e-brake has to be placed to the left with an arm rest, but the e-brakes doesn't line up when I try to bolt it in. Please someone help me, I really want to install my new console if possible. Thanks

 

use a turnbuckle. You can get one at Lowe's or home depot.
