Default Broken bolt on rear upper control arm

I was going to install a camber kit on my buddies 89 CRX today and when I got the wheel off I noticed that one of the bolts was loose. Aw hell. Well then I noticed that it was that the nut inside the chassis had sheered off and was just free spinning in there. What do I do? And then how do I put a new bolt in?

If you take of the rear interior panel you maybe able to get access to the nut. If you do, post pictures. From there you can either re-weld the nut back in place, or just use vise grips or a wrench on it.

I got fixed it! What I did was take an angle grinder and grind a hole out of the back in the wheel well and just used a wrench to hold the nut in place and then put on a new one I got from the store to fit the UCA bolt. Hope this helps. Ill text you tomorrow, creep.

In before some n00b tries to ramble on about how you have "tainted" the "structural integrity" by doing this.. lol

You've ruined the structural-integrity of the car. You'll likely DIAF, now. Not because of the hole, but because your car is yellow.

I had the same prob on ma hatch. Wat I did is I found a good welder n told him to cut ard the bolt as small as possible and then put a screw facing out this time that way If it happens to slip again I could vice grip it. Jus remember DO NOT BEND THE SPOT WHERE THAT SCREW GOES! It's for ur camber kit, your wheel will never line up and ull be able to tell if jus a lil is bent out of place. Hope this helps. Sorry no pics.
